Work Package for applying of Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM in Italian) for the sustainable use of phytosanitary products includes specific actions for applying the CAM set out in the National Plan for the sustainable use of phytosanitary products
WP2 aims to strengthen the competences of administrative and technical bodies appointed to manage procurement for the weeding of railway lines, roads and highways, in full complementarity with MATTM’s National Rural Network programme (NRN).
A1.5 - Training activities
Activities will be organized into classroom training modules and simulation laboratories to approach the following topics:
- risks for and negative global impacts on human health, environment and biodiversity caused by the use of pesticides
- measures set out by PAN for the sustainable use of phytosanitary products, with particular regard to railway lines, roads and highways
- analysis of guidelines and manuals for applying CAM to phytosanitary prod-ucts
- - drawing up of tender documents for service contracts to provide phytosani-tary treatments on or alongside railway lines, roads and highways
A1.6 Coaching on the job
Coaching on the job for contracting authorities (regional administrations, local authorities and managing authorities of other rail and road networks) in the correct application of CAM to phytosanitary products.
